Upon successfully completing the course, you will receive an email with a link to claim your official AHA Heartsaver eCard (digital certificate).

  • Your certification is not active until you claim your eCard.
  • eCards are sent to the email you used when registering—please ensure it is correct and accessible.
  • All AHA certifications are stored permanently in your AHA account once claimed.
  • eCards are typically issued within 30 days of the course.

What to Wear & Physical Requirements

Heartsaver CPR & First Aid includes practical, hands-on skills. You will be practicing CPR on manikins placed on the floor.

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
  • Expect some kneeling, bending, and moderate physical activity.
  • If you have physical limitations or concerns, notify your instructor when you arrive.

Our instructors will do everything possible to accommodate your needs within the AHA course requirements.
